This disturbing article in the August 14th Louisville Courier-Journal notes that African-American homebuyers have been particularly affected by recent deceptive and misleading lending practices.  The article notes that in addition to other factors, some lending companies have targeted minority neighborhoods in promoting risky mortgages and refinancing.
