Class Action Lawsuits Filed Against Humana, Others

From the Louisville Courier-Journal.  Humana announced that they have been named as a defendant in two separate class action lawsuits.  In a class action lawsuit filled in the United States District Court, Western District of Kentucky, it is alleged that Humana provided misinformation to participants of certain retirement-savings plans.  In the other class action lawsuit filed in the United States District Court, District of Connecticut, Humana is accused of conspiring with others to fix the reimbursment rates for the costs of services received out of network.  Participants in both retirement savings plans and health care plans need to be vigilent about the terms of their plans and the actions of their respective providers.
