Consumers Experience Serious Illness from "Total Body Formula" and "Total Body Mega Formula Products

The U.S. Food and Drug Adminstration recently completed their analysis of certain varieties of the liquid dietary supplement Total Body Formula and Total Body Mega Formula and what they found is disturbing.  Flavors of Tropical Orange and Peach Nectar of the Total Body Formula line of products and the Orange/Tangerine flavor of Total Body Mega Formula line were found to have not only hazardous levels of selenium, but hazardous levels of chromium as well. 

Multiple instances of consumers being sickened by these products have been reported.  Seven to ten days after ingestion of these products consumers experienced such adverse reactions such as muscle cramps, diarrhea, joint pain, fatigue and significant hair loss.  The high levels of chromium could have resulted in muscle cramps and fatigue as well as  hyperactivity, hypoglycemia, renal failure, and liver toxicity.
